Headstones are often found to be illegible due to age, weather, vandalism, mould, and over-growth. I believe it is important that all legible headstones are photographed and recorded before this happens, to preserve history and keep the memory of loved ones alive. This is a great resource for genealogists and family researchers looking for their ancestors.
Some headstones can be difficult to read, with fading from age and wear, or being in foreign languages. I am happy to assist in transcribing the wording on the headstones if needed.

I don't charge a fee for photos, but any donations made to help cover costs of running the website and travelling to cemeteries is very much appreciated. You are in no way obliged to donate.
